I always feel sorry when dogs have to go to kennels and when mine does when we have to go somewhere. Here are way to insure the kennel you take your dog is helathy and good
:Ask about what they provide (e.g. do they provide walks, baths, feeding playing)
:Ask if you can take a tour. THIS IS A MUST! I never send my dog to kenels thAt make them sit in a crate thats torture. See If teh cages are clean or if there are sick dogs. If there are sick dogs dont let your dog go ther eor he'll get sick. See if they have one that has a lot of room gives them to choice to go in or out.
:Give your dog a huge bone or big dog toy for him to chew on while your gone. so he's not to lonely.
: See what kind of dog food they use (so if your dog uses a differnet diet give them the kind you use)
: Give them an emergency phone number so when you leave and somthing happens you'll be in reach.
: Or if you dont like kennels ask a neighbor to dog sit your dog. ( Iuse to dog sit my neighb ors dog for a week each summer) make sure you pay them! It keeps your dog less lonely. Like have your neighbor take him on walks play etc....
Play it safe in summer dont let your dog near a pond, lake, river, beach or pool unsupervised.
